Job summary

CubeSmart Self-Storage is seeking a Store Operations Associate to manage and maintain stores within your district. You will balance customer service with hands-on maintenance, driving a positive customer experience and operational efficiency.

In this role you’ll develop relationships, meet sales goals, tour properties, process leasing and payments, and help keep facilities clean and safe. A team‑oriented culture with growth across the U.S. awaits.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering high quality customer service to a diverse customer market.
• A self-driven mindset with strong operational focus.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office products.
• You must have the ability to work Saturdays.
• Access to a personal vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and up-to-date insurance are required.
• While performing the duties of this job, you will be frequently required to stand, sit, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, climb or balance on a ladder.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Developing customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing appropriate solutions while delivering a standout customer experience.
• Interacting face to face with customers, providing excellent service, and building rapport.
• Meeting monthly sales goals and metrics.
• Walking the property to perform daily operational tasks including lock checks and showing units to customers.
• Working both independently and on a team renting self-storage units, selling store merchandise, managing the leasing process, accepting payments utilizing our POS, completing daily deposits, and making courtesy calls regarding late payments.
• Physical requirements include daily walks of the property, cleaning the units and the store grounds, opening and closing of storage doors (up to 50 lbs.).
• Keeping a clean and safe storage facility to ensure conditions meet company guidelines.
