Job summary

Macy's in Cherry Hill, NJ is seeking a Manager, Business Administration to lead essential store operations and administrative functions. You will oversee staffing, budgeting, payroll, and scheduling to ensure the store runs efficiently and profitably.

You'll interview, hire, train, coach, and develop colleagues, manage the store P&L, and drive initiatives that improve guest experience and productivity across teams.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of management experience in a retail store.
• Must be able to handle the physical demands of store operations (lifting, movement, standing).
• Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Store Manager to drive Store Scorecard results focused on hiring, operations and guest experience.
• Maintain profit through effective staffing, budgeting and controllable expenses.
• Lead hiring processes: interview, select, and coach peers in hiring.
• Interview, hire, train, coach, develop, evaluate and discipline direct reports.
• Direct strategies to impact candidate experience and onboarding.
• Oversee payroll, hours, cash office and store inventories.
• Maximize sales and minimize expenses while monitoring monthly P&L.
• Develop action plans to drive store profitability and staffing alignment with demand.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment and participate in safety programs.
