Macy’s in Cherry Hill, NJ seeks a Director, In Store to lead People Leaders and drive strategy to achieve sales while maintaining a clean, neat, and organized store environment for customers.

You will coach, train and develop a team, oversee customer experience initiatives, analyze store performance, and plan workload, pricing, signing, and merchandise execution to exceed goals. The role reports to Store Manager and prepares future leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required.
• 7–10 years retail management experience developing leaders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with management and partners.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and analyze store performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of People Leaders and drive strategy to achieve sales and customer experience goals.
• Analyze store business and develop action plans for growth opportunities.
• Drive sales by coaching, feedback, and recognition while optimizing productivity.
• Plan workload around pricing, signing, visual execution, and merchandise execution.
• Oversee product movement logistics, fulfillment, and back-of-house activities.
• Foster a customer service culture and ensure a friendly, easy-to-shop environment.
