Job summary

Macy’s is seeking a Store Manager, Business Administration to lead essential operations, staffing, and administrative functions across our stores. You will work with Store Leaders to hire, train, and coach teams, while managing budgets, payroll, and the store’s P&L to maximize profitability.

You’ll drive onboarding, performance management, and adoption of store-wide process initiatives, ensuring excellent shopping environments and customer service.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of management experience in a retail store.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform related duties.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Store Manager to improve Store Scorecard results.
• Maintain profit through effective staffing and cost control.
• Lead hiring process: interview, select, train, and coach staff.
• Oversee onboarding, orientation, and coworker development.
• Manage payroll, hours, and store-wide expenses.
• Drive store profitability through staffing and process improvements.
