Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores, located in Mt. Pleasant, Pennsylvania, is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run daily store operations, provide outstanding customer service, and develop a capable team.

You will assist with merchandise flow from delivery to floor, perform opening and closing procedures, process directives, and maintain store fixtures, safety, and cleanliness to meet company standards. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred and ability to read and interpret directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and problem-solving skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process directives and maintain promotional displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, record-keeping and loss prevention.
• Maintain a well-stocked store and secure assets.
• Lead store associates under Store Manager.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and respectful retail environment.
