Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores in Warren, Pennsylvania seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support daily operations, customer service and team development. You will lead associates, ensure a clean, safe shopping environment and help execute corporate directives with accuracy.

Ideal candidates have strong communication skills, retail leadership experience, and the stamina to lift up to 55 lbs. You will manage inventory flow, merchandising, and loss prevention while upholding store standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; ability to read, interpret, and explain directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Lift up to 55 lbs and meet demands of frequent movement and lifting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, record keeping, and loss prevention.
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including cash.
• Adhere to policies and procedures and ensure staff compliance.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness of the store including bathrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
