Dollar General is seeking a Department Head/Assistant Manager to support store operations and inventory management. You will lead merchandising, stock control, and customer service initiatives while assisting the Store Manager in daily routines and safety compliance.

Candidates should have retail experience, strong cash handling skills, and the ability to manage staff and processes in a fast-paced environment. This role involves physical duties in a store setting and occasional banking tasks.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required or strongly preferred.
• Experience with cash handling, deposits and safe practices.
• Inventory management and merchandising knowledge expected.

Responsabilidades

• Receive, open and unpack merchandise following store processes.
• Stock, rotate and display merchandise; maintain attractive shelves.
• Assist with scheduling and payroll data entry as needed by the Store Manager.
• Ensure checkout accuracy and perform revenue reporting with cashier accountability.
• Help maintain inventory accuracy and follow loss-prevention practices.
