Job summary

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret documents, diagrams, safety rules and procedures.
• Ability to perform basic math including percentages for daily operations.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and deposit controls.
• Familiarity with IBM cash register functions and reporting.
• Understanding of inventory management and merchandising practices.
• Strong verbal and written communication; effective interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of recruiting, interviewing, hiring and termination practices including legal compliance.
• Familiarity with cash, facility and safety control policies (deposits, keys, SAFE program).

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees per federal and state laws and company policies; ensure proper staffing.
• Provide training, conduct performance evaluations, identify gaps and counsel or terminate as needed.
• Recommend pay rates and career advancement opportunities.
• Communicate performance expectations and coordinate safety and policy adherence.
• Ensure store opens and closes each day and remains properly staffed.
• Manage store operations, including stocking, ordering and inventory control.
• Oversee cash handling, daily reporting and loss prevention measures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and customer-focused store environment.
• Ensure compliance with company SOPs, policies and deadlines.
