Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Store Manager to lead daily store operations, staff recruitment, training, and performance management. You will safeguard cash handling, drive inventory accuracy, and ensure excellent customer service while maintaining store presentation and safety standards.

The role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to open/close the store, manage staffing schedules, and meet sales targets in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• 1 year of management experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Ability to recruit, hire, train and evaluate staff in compliance with policies.

Responsibilities

• Manage all store employees and ensure effective planning and execution of store processes.
• Recruit, train, evaluate performance and counsel staff as needed.
• Maintain cash accuracy, inventory controls and compliance with company policies.
• Open/close the store reliably and oversee daily operations and customer service.
