Job summary

Yesway is seeking an Assistant Manager in New Mexico to partner with the Store Manager in driving store performance. You will help train and develop staff, oversee daily operations, and ensure excellent guest service.

You will handle scheduling, address customer concerns, ensure compliance, assist with audits, and monitor profits through end-of-day procedures, inventory, and vendor coordination. This role offers growth and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED plus required certification testing upon employment.
• Experience: One year experience supervising others in a fast food, restaurant, retail or convenience operation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager with training and development of employees and store responsibilities.
• Schedule employees for shifts.
• Resolve store issues including customer concerns.
• Ensure compliance with all required regulations and requirements.
• Assist with audits and proper placement and stocking of merchandise.
• Ensure hospitality for all store guests by overseeing timely guest transactions.
• Monitor profits through end of day procedures, shrink indicators, lottery, stock audits, vendors, car wash operations and retail waste.
