Job summary

Goodwill South Florida seeks a Store Supervisor to support the Store Manager in achieving financial performance, managing personnel, and delivering excellent customer service.

The role involves cross-training in Processing, Cashiering, Sales Floor, and Visual Merchandising, plus ensuring clean, organized stockrooms and compliance with all policies. Strong leadership and communication are essential in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Lead/supervisory experience in a retail environment (1+ year, 3–10 direct reports).
• Knowledge of profit and loss, sales, or cost management accountability.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (English); bilingual Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager and Assistant Manager in all store operations.
• Open/close store, tally cash registers, and generate daily/weekly/monthly reports.
• Maintain stockroom, merchandise rotation, and pricing processes.
• Ensure customer service excellence and safe, clean store conditions.
• Develop staff through training and cross-training across areas: Processing, Cashiering, Sales Floor, Visual Merchandising.
• Support loss prevention through adherence to procedures and incident reporting.
• Assist in budgeting, audits, and corrective actions to improve performance.
