Job summary

Goodwill in Oceanside, CA is seeking a Store Supervisor to assist the management team with daily store operations, opening/closing, and staff oversight.

You will lead customer service, train staff, manage schedules, and ensure policies are followed while maintaining clean displays and accurate sales reporting.

Experience in retail supervision and a valid California driver’s license are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED preferred.
• One year of supervisory experience in retail preferred.
• Basic computer skills; email and internet; Word and Excel.
• CA driver’s license preferred; driving record acceptable to insurer.
• Ability to operate cash register and understand retail store operations.

Responsibilities

• Ensures excellent customer service for customers and donors.
• Provides leadership, training and development to staff to increase productivity.
• Oversees production/retail operations and ensures policies are followed.
• Schedules and assists in performance evaluations and goal setting.
• Maintains store/department clean, safe and organized with proper merchandise display.
• Documents concerns promptly to management and supports organizational initiatives.
