Job summary

Goodwill North Country Clearance Center in San Diego County seeks a Stores/Operations Associate to support daily operations, coaching staff, and ensure revenue and production goals are met.

Responsibilities include opening/closing the store, supervising staff, enforcing wage-hour compliance, and handling reports. Candidates should have at least 1–2 years of related experience and a valid CA driver's license; forklift certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience: 1–2 years in related roles.
• Computer skills: basic computer use, Word and Excel.
• Licenses: CA Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.
• Other: forklift certification preferred for NC Clearance Center.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager/Operations Manager with daily department operations.
• Help meet store revenue and production goals.
• Provide excellent customer service to customers and donors.
• Assist with scheduling, reporting and budget preparation.
• Maintain safe, clean, well-organized store with merchandise.
• Support training, guidance and development of staff.
• Prepare annual performance evaluations and goal setting conversations.
• Implement organizational initiatives and report issues when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned or needed.
