Job summary

Goodwill-Industries-of-Arkansa is seeking a Store Supervisor to run daily operations in the store in the Manager's absence in Fort Smith, AR. You will supervise staff, assist with hiring, maintain records, and ensure excellent customer service to donors and customers while meeting budget targets.

Responsibilities include supervising receiving, pricing, displaying merchandise, balancing cash, making bank deposits, and enforcing loss prevention.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2 years related experience or training.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong communication skills.
• Occasional travel within Arkansas may be required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise store staff and communicate performance expectations.
• Assist with interviewing applicants and new-hire orientations.
• Maintain secure personnel files.
• Provide excellent customer service to donors and customers.
• Monitor receiving, pricing, display, and selling within price ranges.
• Balance cash receipts and prepare daily bank deposits.
• Operate POS to process payments, returns, and voids.
• Ensure safety and housekeeping of store area.
• Open/close store and ensure operation during hours.
• Maintain daily sales reports and attendance records.
