Job summary

Dollar Tree in Davison, MI is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run daily store operations, deliver excellent customer service, and develop the team.

You will assist with ordering, payroll and scheduling, maintain store appearance, and ensure safety compliance while keeping store assets secure. This role offers growth opportunities in a fast-paced retail environment and requires a strong, people-focused leader who can drive results.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication, interpersonal and written skills.
• Experience in retail, grocery, or drug store management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain promotional effectiveness of store fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, and cash deposits.
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Assist Store Manager with supervising, training, and developing store associates.
