Job summary

Dollar Tree in Davison, MI is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily functions, ensure clean and organized sales floors, and help train and supervise Store Associates.

The role requires strong communication, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 55 lbs. Previous retail supervision is preferred, and you will work closely with the Store Manager to meet standards and deliver a friendly, safe shopping

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail or grocery environment is a plus.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain fixtures and displays and ensure promotional effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, payroll and cash handling, and loss prevention.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store and organized stockroom; protect assets.
