Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development in Lowell, MI. This full-time role involves assisting with daily store activities, helping customers, and organizing merchandise from delivery to floor while ensuring displays stay inviting.

You will also participate in opening/closing procedures, compliance tasks, and loss prevention, while training and guiding Store Associates to maintain a safe, productive, and friendly

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, bending, and climbing.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain promotional fixtures, displays, and store cleanliness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged items, record keeping, and loss prevention.
• Support Store Manager in training and developing Store Associates.
• Ensure a safe, respectful environment and adherence to company policies.
