Job summary

ALDI is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Essex, Maryland. This role reports to the Store Manager and focuses on driving sales, controlling expenses, and delivering excellent customer service.

You will lead, train, and support store personnel while upholding ALDI’s values and policies. The position is full-time, with an average of 38 hours per week and a starting wage of $26.50 per hour, increasing to $27.50 in year two.

Qualifications

• Previous retail management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees store operations to drive sales growth and control expenses.
• Leads store tours during interview events and provides hiring recommendations.
• Develops and implements action plans to improve operating results.
• Prepares, manages and revises weekly schedules.
• Ensures adherence to POS, cash handling, and merchandising standards.
