Job summary

Kohl's in Indiana is seeking an Operations Manager or Merchandising Manager to oversee store operations and/or merchandising, driving sales and profitability. You will coach associates, implement efficient processes, and lead the team to deliver exceptional customer service and accurate merchandising execution.

You will manage floor replenishment, pricing, and store standards, while training new hires and coordinating with Loss Prevention to protect assets and ensure safety.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Experience supervising teams or associates, including coaching to achieve daily goals.
• Great verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Strong people management skills and ability to develop talent.
• Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure sound operational processes, including receiving and processing product, stockroom management and omni channel fulfillment.
• Drive accuracy through completion of directives such as merchandise disposition practices.
• Maintain product on the sales floor, planning and directing floor replenishment based on sell-through and seasonal changes.
• Lead POS and customer service to deliver fast, friendly service and a compelling customer experience.
• Ensure merchandising standards follow visual direction and brand standards, with clear, compelling product presentation.
• Direct, teach and train associates to execute merchandising direction to brand standards in a timely manner.
• Lead pricing activities in-store and ensure price/signing accuracy and efficiency.
• Support loss prevention through staff education and monitoring daily activity.
• Manage training for new hires to ensure proficiency in processes, inventory, productivity, and merchandising standards.
