Job summary

Kohl’s is seeking an Operations Manager or Merchandising Manager in Plano, TX to oversee store operations and merchandising, delivering excellent customer service and profitability. You will coach associates to execute processes, manage stock, pricing, and customer experience, while driving sales through strong leadership and KPI focus.

You will lead and develop teams, ensure brand standards, and collaborate with Loss Prevention to protect assets.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Experience supervising teams or associates, including coaching to achieve daily goals and performance management.
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong people management and talent development skills.
• Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• College degree or equivalent combination of education and retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee store operations and merchandising to drive sales and profitability.
• Teach, coach and develop associates on operational, service and merchandising processes.
• Ensure sound operational processes including receiving, stockroom management and omnichannel fulfillment.
• Lead pricing, signing and ticketing accuracy and adherence to brand standards.
• Monitor KPIs and performance measures to optimize store results.
• Promote strong loss-prevention practices and safety standards.
