Job summary

ALO is seeking an Operations Manager to join its store leadership team in New York. The role focuses on operational strategy, inventory control, labor planning, scheduling, and ensuring the store is customer-ready at all times.

Expect to lead with measurable business data, partner with the General Manager, and drive performance through coaching and internal development. The role is full-time, with openings for flexible shifts during peak seasons.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of retail or related industry leadership experience.
• Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
• Extraordinary interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Agile with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a changing environment.
• Independent work ethic, time management skills, and personal accountability.
• Aligns with and embodies ALO’s Guiding Principles.
• Requires constant movement in and around all areas of store.
• Ability to lift, push, carry or otherwise move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand and move for an entire shift.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and support execution of key operational processes.
• Investigate and root cause inventory accuracy issues, partnering with the Manager to escape gaps.
• Champion strong operational standards for the salesfloor by leveraging data.
• Support sell-through management by ensuring inventory counts and coordinating labor hours.
• Support a safe and efficient operation.
• Lead a team through accountability, coaching, talent development, and communication.
