Job summary

CubeSmart Self-Storage in Virginia seeks a Store Operations Manager to run daily store activities, ensure excellent customer service, and drive occupancy and revenue.

You will supervise front-desk operations, manage leasing, payments, and store budget while maintaining a clean, safe facility and delivering on company standards. This role requires weekend availability and a valid driver's license, along with the ability to perform physical tasks.

Qualifications

• Self-driven mindset with strong operational focus.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office products.
• Ability to work Saturdays.
• Driver's license and access to a vehicle.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks as required.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Some locations may require Sunday hours.

Responsibilities

• Develop customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing solutions while delivering a standout customer experience.
• Interact face to face with customers, provide excellent service, and build rapport.
• Meet monthly sales goals and metrics.
• Walk the property to perform daily operational tasks including lock checks and showing units.
• Rent storage spaces, sell merchandise, manage leasing, process payments via POS, and handle deposits.
• Review invoices, generate reports and manage related processes.
• Oversee store expenses and maintain inventory and supplies.
