CubeSmart Self-Storage is seeking a Store Operations Manager in California who will balance customer service with day-to-day operations. You will develop relationships, meet sales goals, and oversee leasing, payments, and basic maintenance on-site.

The role emphasizes a strong customer service mindset, reliability, and the ability to work Saturdays when required, with an emphasis on safety and store budgeting.

Qualifications

• Positive, outgoing personality with a passion for helping people.
• Experience delivering high-quality customer service to diverse customers.
• Self-driven with strong operational focus.
• Basic MS Office skills.
• Ability to work Saturdays.
• Own vehicle, valid driver’s license, and insurance.
• Stands, sits, kneels, bends, and climbs regularly.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing appropriate solutions while delivering a standout customer experience.
• Interacting face to face with customers, providing excellent service, and building rapport.
• Meeting monthly sales goals and metrics.
• Walking the property to perform daily operational tasks including lock checks and showing units to customers.
• Renting storage spaces, selling store merchandise, managing the leasing process, accepting payments via POS, and completing daily bank deposits.
• Processing invoices, managing reports and auctions.
• Overseeing the store’s expense budget and inventory.
