Job summary

CubeSmart Self-Storage is seeking a Store Operations Manager to lead customer service and daily property maintenance. You will develop relationships, meet sales goals, perform daily operations, and manage leasing, payments, and reports.

You will ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming facility while coordinating with team members to deliver exceptional service and maintain operational standards across the store.

Qualifications

• Positive, outgoing personality with a passion for helping people.
• Experience delivering high-quality customer service to diverse customers.
• Self-driven with strong operational focus.
• Basic MS Office skills.
• Ability to work Saturdays.
• Access to a personal vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and up-to-date insurance.
• Ability to stand, sit, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, climb or balance on a ladder.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Developing customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing appropriate solutions while delivering a standout customer experience.
• Interacting face to face with customers, providing excellent service, and building rapport.
• Meeting monthly sales goals and metrics.
• Walking the property to perform daily operational tasks including lock checks and showing units to customers.
• Renting storage spaces, selling store merchandise, managing the leasing process, accepting payments via POS, completing daily bank deposits, and making courtesy calls for late payments.
• Managing invoice review and approval within the database.
• Processing invoices, managing reports and auctions.
• Overseeing the store’s expense budget while maintaining store supplies and retail inventory.
• Daily property walks; cleaning units and store grounds; opening/closing doors (up to 50 lbs).
• Maintaining facility cleanliness including restrooms, landscaping, and tidy storage doors.
