Insomnia Cookies is hiring a Store Operations Manager (GM) for our Kansas City, Westport location to lead a hospitality-driven team focused on delivering exceptional service and cookie quality while achieving sales goals.

You will shape store culture, manage inventory, and execute local marketing initiatives, supported by structured training in a fast-growing company with great growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of management/leadership experience in a restaurant or retail establishment.
• Availability to work 2-3 mid-to-late shifts throughout the latter part of the week (Thu-Sun).
• Benevolent leadership style with a player-coach mentality for day-to-day management.
• Innate hospitality and ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Strong technical acumen with restaurant/retail software; proficiency with MS Outlook, Excel, MS Teams; prior ATS experience.
• Familiarity with commercial convection ovens is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Hire, coach and develop a diverse part-time hourly staff (Shift Leaders, Cookie Crew, Delivery Drivers).
• Lead service components including quality, customer service, friendliness, and store cleanliness.
• Establish a culture of excellence prioritizing cookie quality, service, and sales.
• Manage and audit inventory to maintain controls.
• Create and execute local marketing drops.
• Drive in-store recognition programs and contests.
