Applegreen USA is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in running daily operations at our travel plaza locations. You will lead teams, coach supervisors, and ensure performance aligns with brand standards and financial goals.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, operational excellence, and people development, with a focus on maintaining safety, efficiency, and guest satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver performance feedback, set goals, foster teamwork, and communicate business objectives.
• Supervise non-management associates, assign work, coach, and develop shift supervisors.
• Act in the absence of the general manager when needed.
• Motivate staff and manage morale during challenging times.
• Ensure policies, brand standards, and procedures are followed.
• Maintain clean, inviting restaurant appearance and brand compliance.
• Ensure cash management is accurate and reports are timely.
• Address customer needs and resolve issues to sustain relationships.
• Conduct spot inventory checks to verify stock accuracy.
