Applegreen USA is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in overseeing daily operations across our travel plaza locations. You will lead a team, ensure high service levels, and uphold brand standards while managing staff performance and customer satisfaction.

The role offers hands-on management experience in a fast-paced environment with opportunities for growth within a national travel plaza network.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in quick service restaurant or similar management operations.
• Basic food safety understanding and practice.
• Ability and willingness to lift/push objects weighing over 30 lbs.
• Flexible and open work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Deliver performance feedback, set goals, foster teamwork, and clearly communicate business objectives.
• Oversee day-to-day supervision of non-management associates, assign work, coach, and develop shift supervisors.
• Perform duties in the absence of the general manager.
• Motivate staff and positively influence team during low morale.
• Ensure brand standards and procedures are followed; maintain clean, inviting restaurant appearance.
• Manage cash handling and daily reports; resolve customer needs and inquiries.
