Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Valparaiso to help supervise day-to-day store activities, drive performance, manage schedules, and develop operational action plans while identifying training opportunities to grow the team.

The role is full-time with 38 hours per week and starts at $26.00 per hour, with a wage increase to $27.00 per hour in Year 2. You will be responsible for ensuring product quality, inventory control, and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in a retail environment.
• A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
• Prior management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement action plans to improve operating results.
• Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports.
• Identify training and development opportunities for direct reports.
• Model company core values and promote teamwork.
• Participate in interviewing store personnel and ensure proper store operations.
