Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Colorado LLC in Alamosa, CO is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with opening and closing procedures, organize merchandise, and ensure displays remain attractive while following corporate directives.

You’ll supervise and train store associates, protect assets, and maintain a clean, safe, and friendly environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store operations and day-to-day activities.
• Provide excellent customer service and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures and follow corporate directives.
• Maintain displays, fixtures, and promotional materials.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, and record keeping.
• Help supervise, train, and develop store associates.
