Job summary

Family Dollar LLC in the United States is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help with store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with day-to-day store activities, support opening and closing procedures, and ensure a clean, well-stocked, and welcoming store environment.

You will work with Store Manager to supervise, train, and develop Store Associates, maintain promotional displays, handle merchandise ordering, and uphold safety and company policies while

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail store management experience in grocery/drug or general retail is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Assist in organizing, stocking, and transferring merchandise as needed.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain promotional displays and store standards.
• Assist in ordering merchandise and processing damaged items.
• Support supervision, training, and development of store associates.
