Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with merchandise flow from delivery to floor, maintain seasonal displays, and help with opening/closing procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred or required.
• Retail management experience in a grocery or retail setting is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional effectiveness of store fixtures and displays.
