Job summary

Family Dollar in Mancos, CO is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with daily functions, help customers, organize merchandise, and ensure store standards.

Responsibilities include opening/closing, following corporate directives, maintaining displays, payroll/scheduling records, loss prevention, and maintaining a safe, friendly work environment. Part-time position with standard store duties.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills are required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns they may have.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed and follow corporate directives.
• Maintain promotional effectiveness of store fixtures and displays and assist in ordering merchandise.
• Protect and secure all company assets including store cash and ensure store policies are followed.
