Job summary

ALDI in Atlanta, GA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to oversee daily store operations, supervise staff, manage schedules, and drive performance to meet company standards.

The role starts at $25.50 per hour with a planned wage increase to $26.50 in Year 2, based on performance. This is a full-time position with typical 38 hours per week, offering opportunities for development and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in a retail environment.
• Proven ability to lead a team and provide excellent customer service.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, manage budgets and expenses.

Responsibilities

• Assist the direct leader with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results.
• Supervise day-to-day store activities and ensure store performance.
• Manage schedules and payroll while controlling overall costs.
• Identify training opportunities to develop team members and grow capabilities.
• Maintain store cleanliness, signage, and adherence to safety and cash handling procedures.
• Support inventory procedures, product ordering, and stock levels.
• Contribute to interviewing and onboarding of store personnel.
• Communicate updates, milestones, and concerns to leadership.
