Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to oversee day-to-day store activities, supervise the team, manage schedules, and develop operational action plans while identifying training opportunities to develop and grow the team.

Starting wage is $26.50 per hour, with a wage increase to $27.50 per hour in Year 2. This full-time role averages 38 hours per week and includes competitive benefits and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18
• 3+ years of progressive retail experience
• Ability to lead and develop a team
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to follow policies and procedures

Responsibilities

• Assist with supervising day-to-day store activities
• Develop and implement action plans to improve operating results
• Manage staff schedules and training opportunities
• Ensure adherence to inventory procedures and cash controls
• Participate in interviewing and hiring of store personnel
• Maintain store cleanliness and proper signage
• Support payroll and loss-prevention efforts
• Escalate issues to leadership when needed
