Job summary

Five Below in Apple Valley, MN is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead day-to-day operations, open or close the store, supervise associates, and deliver customer service excellence. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversees receiving, unpacking, and organizing stock for quick placement on the sales floor.
• Manages setup and maintenance of displays, including signage and promotions per guidelines.
• Leads opening/closing procedures, cash security, doors, alarms, and daily operations.
• Acts as Manager on Duty, overseeing operations, staff, customer service, and urgent issues.
• Supervises daily activities of associates and supports onboarding and training.
• Drives sales and controls expenses through merchandising, staff performance, and customer service.
• Executes market plan with product and signage updates per corporate guidelines.
