Job summary

ALDI Brand is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in the United States to support store operations, drive sales, control expenses, and ensure customer satisfaction. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will lead a team, implement action plans, and uphold ALDI’s values and policies.

You will develop staff through coaching, manage schedules, supervise cash handling and POS processes, and help maintain merchandising standards while delivering a safe, efficient shopping experience.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in a retail environment and prior management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the resolution of employee and customer concerns with the store manager.
• Leads and develops store personnel and communicates performance expectations.
• Assists in developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results and personnel development.
• Leads store tours during interview events and provides hiring recommendations.
• Trains and develops store personnel to achieve their maximum potential using company-provided training materials.
