Drift Coffee & Kitchen in Wilmington, NC is seeking a Store Manager on Duty to open and close the store, autonomously coordinate kitchen, bar, and Front-of-House operations, and resolve POS and system issues without GM involvement. You will lead shift goals, coach staff, and pursue ServSafe certification within 30 days, while onboarding new hires and managing attendance, ensuring guest experience and pace.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store as Manager on Duty (MOD) and ensure daily reporting.
• Coordinate kitchen, bar, and Front-of-House (FOH) operations and resolve complex POS/system issues without GM involvement.
• Set and communicate shift goals, provide real-time coaching, and improve execution, quality, guest experience, and pace.
• Own onboarding and station training for new hires; coach Lead Cook and Lead Barista on shift performance; document attendance issues and escalate to GM.
• Cover callouts, stabilize operations during disruptions, and make real-time coverage decisions to protect labor targets; de-escalate guest concerns.
