Books-A-Million is seeking an Assistant General Manager to run day-to-day store operations as Manager On Duty, working with the management team to boost sales and service. You’ll help the General Manager oversee all aspects of operations, lead the team, manage budgets, and drive performance while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience and strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations as Manager On Duty to maximize sales and customer service.
• Assist General Manager with hiring, onboarding and staff development.
• Maintain security, cash handling and daily store processes.
• Train and develop associates and leads; communicate with the team effectively.
