Job summary

GOODWILL OF CENTRAL FLORIDA is seeking a Store Manager responsible for directing store operations under the Regional Director, driving revenue, managing payroll and expenses, and ensuring safe, compliant service.

Responsibilities include supervising inventory, stock rotations, in-store displays, customer service, staff scheduling, training, and enforcing safety and security programs while maintaining a professional appearance and POS proficiency.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent required.
• Minimum three years retail and two years management experience.
• Experience working with people with disabilities and/or Goodwill experience preferred.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook; POS system experience.
• Strong math ability and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Generate revenue and control store expense budget within defined guidelines.
• Transport cash to the bank.
• Supervise receipt of inventory, stock rotations, color rotations, scheduled markdowns, and transfers.
• Promote merchandise and create in-store displays.
• Open and close the store; handle inquiries professionally.
• Schedule staff and arrange for replacement of absent employees; evaluate performance.
• Ensure compliance with CPSC and safety procedures.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate safety drills.
