Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. – USA HomeGoods Store Columbus is seeking a Key Carrier to support store operations, lead when required, and maintain high standards of customer service. This role blends coordination with occasional leadership, requiring open availability including nights and weekends.

You will help ensure staffing coverage, coach Associates, protect store assets, and execute company policies. A background in retail with leadership exposure is preferred, along with strong communication

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year retail experience and 6 months leadership exposure.

Responsibilities

• Creates a positive internal and external customer experience.
• Promotes honesty and integrity; maintains confidentiality.
• Acts as Manager on Duty adhering to policy and procedure.
• Ensures store team performs tasks per store plan; prioritizes as needed.
• Addresses immediate customer service issues and coaches Associates.
• Maintains accurate Associate coverage for a positive customer experience.
• Ensures Associates adhere to operational procedures and opening/closing protocols.
• Communicates clearly with management and Associates on priorities and progress.
• Gives and receives feedback and coaching.
• Partners with Management on training needs to increase effectiveness.
• Supports labor law compliance and safety initiatives.
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs and shrink-reduction efforts.
