Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the General Manager in day-to-day store operations. You will supervise staff, ensure policy compliance, and help deliver guest service that drives business results.

Responsibilities include cash handling oversight, inventory monitoring, banking, invoicing, and maintaining store standards for cleanliness, safety, and appearance while promoting company initiatives and guest service excellence.

Qualifications

• Must have 1–2 years supervisory experience.
• Ability to communicate, count, read, and write accurately.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work in intermittent temperatures and lift up to 25 lbs during a shift.

Responsibilities

• Complete required daily accounting paperwork and transmit by deadline.
• Supervise, develop, train and discipline non-exempt employees.
• Monitors shift cash handling and inventory; assist in investigations of shortages/overages <= $100 per month and inventory variations <= 0.5% of sales.
• Maintains business records and cashier accountability sheets.
• Perform banking, invoicing, payroll, and other administrative duties as requested.
• Manage cash management procedures including bank deposits and change orders.
• Maintain Grand Opening Ready Standards and store image standards.
• Ensure store cleanliness, safety, and secure operation.
• Engage in company promotional initiatives and guest service excellence.
