Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to assist the general manager with daily store operations in a fast-paced environment. You will ensure policy adherence, supervise staff, handle cash and inventory, and maintain accurate records.

The role involves supporting customer service, store promotions, and safety standards while contributing to team goals. This position is based at a Global Partners store and requires flexibility in scheduling.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years supervisory experience required.
• Must be able to work flexible hours (days/nights/weekends/holidays).
• Good communication and math skills; able to read and write accurately.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Complete required daily accounting paperwork and transmit by deadline.
• Supervise, develop, train and discipline hourly staff.
• Monitor cash handling and inventory; investigate shortages/overages.
• Maintain store records and cashier accountability.
• Perform banking, invoicing, payroll and other admin duties.
• Manage cash deposits and change orders.
• Maintain store appearance and cleanliness; ensure safety.
