Responsibilities include budgeting, labor management, safety, shrink, and customer experience initiatives, with a focus on developing future leaders and maintaining strong community relationships.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year leading a department manager or equivalent.
• Proven ability to coach associates toward service and business goals.
• Experience using KPIs and data to drive decisions.
• Ability to collaborate across departments and influence others.
• Experience managing priorities in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Track record of improving customer experience and sales.

Responsibilities

• Assist store manager and associates to ensure customer service excellence.
• Lead merchandising and operating initiatives.
• Develop action plans from Associate Insight survey results.
• Identify opportunities and implement timely solutions.
• Manage total store operations in manager’s absence.
• Drive sales, manage budgets, and reduce shrink.
• Communicate performance feedback to staff.
• Support labor management and cost control daily.
• Ensure compliance with laws and policies.
• Promote community relationships and union relations where applicable.
