You will oversee merchandising, labor planning, safety, and store programs, working with department heads to meet budget and performance goals. The role requires leadership experience in a fast-paced retail environment, strong KPI acumen, and a commitment to Kroger’s core values.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year of experience as department manager, service manager, or equivalent.
• Experience leading and coaching associates to achieve customer service, operational, and business goals.
• Strong ability to use KPIs, metrics and data to guide decisions.
• Proven cross-department collaboration and influence to drive store performance.
• Track record of improving customer experience, sales and operations.

Responsabilidades

• Assist store manager and associates to deliver a great customer shopping experience.
• Help lead merchandising and operating initiatives with department heads and associates.
• Convey action plans to associates based on survey results.
• Identify store opportunities with department heads and develop timely solutions.
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve issues promptly.
• Support total store operations in the store manager’s absence.
• Participate in budgeting discussions (sales, shrink, labor) and cost controls.
• Work with managers to drive sales, reduce shrink and improve department contributions.
• Communicate information to associates to help them perform duties.
