Goodwill Industries Southern New England Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support overall store operations, including donations handling, pricing, and customer service. This role involves supervising staff, managing budgets, and meeting safety and security standards.

Will typically work regular weekend hours, evenings and holidays as needed. Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills are required to drive sales and maintain a positive shopping environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus two years related supervisory experience.
• Ability to read, write and interpret safety rules, operating procedures and reports.
• Sufficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Oversee store operations including donations processing and merchandise handling.
• Assist in achieving financial performance and cost control.
• Supervise store personnel and coordinate work for community service workers.
• Ensure excellent customer service and safety compliance at all times.
• Schedule staff to meet production, customer service and security needs.
• Maintain store appearance and proper operation of equipment and facilities.
