Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Lane & South Coast Counties & Alaska seeks a Customer Service Associate to join our Eugene, Oregon retail team. You will greet donors and shoppers, operate the POS system, and help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment while supporting front-end operations.

You will work with colleagues to meet production and sales goals, participate in trainings, and uphold Goodwill's mission of providing vocational opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older; 18 years to operate safety sensitive equipment.
• Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus.
• Ability to read, comprehend and respond to written and verbal instructions in English.
• Must become certified on equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack, tilter) as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet, assist and engage with customers and donors.
• Operate cash register and POS system; balance cash drawer and complete reports.
• Receive, sort, and price donated goods per guidelines and quality standards.
• Restock merchandise and create displays; maintain a clean, organized sales floor.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness of sales floor, restrooms, and donation/production areas.
• Collaborate with team to meet production and sales goals and participate in meetings.
