Job summary

Crate & Barrel is seeking an Assistant Store Leader - Operations to drive efficient store operations, back-of-house excellence and a strong customer experience. You will oversee receiving, inventory, fulfillment and standards while leading training and ongoing product knowledge for all associates.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years of retail leadership, strong communication, and the ability to work a full-time flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• 2+ years customer service or retail leadership experience.
• Excellent reading and written language skills (English).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong delegation skills in support of execution and driving results.
• Proven ability to build a culture focused on success and teamwork.
• Ability to work a full-time flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations including receiving, inventory, fulfillment and standards.
• Manage inventory, scheduling, expenses and store technology.
• Lead training, onboarding and ongoing product knowledge for all associates.
• Collaborate with store leadership to support operational execution, audits and continuous improvement.
• Mentor the team to deliver consistent service and operational excellence.
• Ensure customers receive gracious, quick and efficient service.
