Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily operations and supervise associates while upholding company standards across customers, merchandising, and service.

You will help manage payroll, scheduling, training, and development, while ensuring compliance with safety policies and labor regulations. This role requires strong leadership, cash handling, and the ability to work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of Store or Assistant Store Manager experience in a retail environment.
• Ability to supervise, motivate and communicate positively to Store Associates at all levels.
• Fluency in English; ability to work evenings and weekends.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead all Store operations and ensure company standards.
• Assist in analyzing store reports to evaluate controllable expenses and performance.
• Ensure proper scheduling of Associates to meet business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with all state, local and federal regulations.
• Responsible for payroll administration including daily punch edits, scheduling compliance, and payroll reporting as needed.
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, training and developing non-exempt Associates.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment and foster a professional appearance and housekeeping.
