Job summary

Ross Stores is seeking a Store Manager to lead all store operations, ensuring company standards and best practices are met. You will recruit, train and develop a high-performing leadership team and Associates to deliver sales and profit results in a friendly, easy-to-shop environment.

You will oversee payroll, scheduling, merchandise processing and loss prevention while maintaining compliance with policies and procedures. Evening and weekend work will be required.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of store management experience in a retail environment.
• Ability to lead, manage, motivate and communicate positively to store associates at all levels.
• Ability to train, coach and develop associates at all levels.
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to accomplish goals, develop a schedule and execute to achieve results.
• Fluency in English.
• Must exercise independent judgment and discretion.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of Store staff including Assistant Store Manager, Area Supervisors and Retail Associates.
• Oversees operations of Stockroom, Front End, and Sales Floor to meet company standards.
• Recruits, trains and develops leadership team and Associates.
• Maintains compliance with all Company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Manages payroll administration and scheduling to meet business objectives.
• Leads loss prevention and inventory processes to control shrink.
