Job summary

Ross Stores, a Fortune 500 off-price retailer, is seeking a Store Manager to lead operations in our New Jersey location. You will oversee staffing, training, and the daily execution of sales, stockroom, and front-end activities to meet company standards.

You will manage budgets, coach associates, drive customer service, ensure safety, and maintain presentation standards while supporting company diversity and inclusion goals.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of Store management experience in a retail environment.
• Must maintain a high level of customer service.
• Ability to lead, manage, motivate and communicate positively to Store Associates at all levels.
• Ability to train, coach and develop Associates at all levels.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead all Store operations to meet company standards and best practices.
• Recruit, hire, train and develop Assistant Store Manager, Area Supervisors and Associates.
• Manage Stockroom, Front End and Sales Floor to ensure timely merchandise flow and expense control.
• Oversee payroll administration, scheduling, and adherence to policies.
• Ensure compliance with state, local, and federal regulations.
• Supervise and coach Retail Associates to deliver efficient, friendly service.
